Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in students lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a diverse group of children across all grade levels. This full-time, contract position near Fort Wayne, IN, offers the opportunity to support and empower students as they develop crucial communication skills throughout the entire school year. Your expertise will directly impact students academic success and social confidence, providing invaluable guidance to teachers and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in Indiana Prior experience providing speech therapy within a school or pediatric setting Strong knowledge of best practices in SLP for students across all grade levels Collaborative mindset to partner with educators, families, and special education teams Comfortable managing caseloads and documentation efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals Deliver speech and language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school grades Track progress, adjust interventions, and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and district guidelines Serve as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies to support students both in and out of the classroom Attend meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams as needed
