Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in educational settings, specifically with school-aged populations Comfortable with providing speech therapy in both on-site and teletherapy formats Comprehensive knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and intervention for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students per Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct assessments and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student communication and success in the classroom Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote service delivery Maintain professional standards and stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
