Job Description

Make a direct impact on young learners lives by providing speech-language services in a supportive school setting. This rewarding contract position focuses on helping students develop strong communication skills, empowering them to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) for practice in the state Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver individualized therapy Comfortable working with students of various ages and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each students unique needs Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support positive student outcomes Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ongoing professional development This opportunity allows you to share your expertise and compassion with students who benefit greatly from your support.
