Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services in an Early Learning Center setting near Rosedale, IN. This full-time position stretches across the full school year and focuses on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students with impactful, mostly push-in therapy sessions. Collaborate with a dedicated educational team as you help lay the foundation for future communication success in young learners.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood or elementary caseloads Strong knowledge of childhood speech and language development Ability to collaborate well with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for young children
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy primarily through in-class (push-in) services, integrating with classroom learning Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in PreK and Kindergarten Monitor student progress, maintain timely and thorough documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings Provide consultative support for teachers and families to generalize communication goals Adapt therapy materials and strategies to meet the diverse needs and abilities of early learners Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development relevant to early childhood education This position offers a unique opportunity to be instrumental in the early educational journeys of young students, making a memorable difference as they begin their school experience.
