School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Terre Haute, Indiana

Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working with Transitional Kindergarten and Pre-K students. Located near Terre Haute, IN, this full-time role is ideal for a skilled professional dedicated to fostering communication and language growth in early learners. Preference will be given to candidates available for in-person services, ensuring hands-on support for students and seamless collaboration with educators.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible Indiana SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered School-based SLP experience, particularly with early childhood (Transitional Kindergarten and Pre-K), is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in young learners Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with student goals and IEPs Conduct regular progress monitoring and maintain detailed documentation Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement Facilitate classroom-based and pull-out therapy sessions as appropriate Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school team discussions This contract position offers a wonderful chance to make a meaningful impact at a crucial developmental stage for children.
