Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis, working with elementary students near Williamsport, IN. This position offers a unique blend of in-person and teletherapy opportunities, contributing crucial expertise to speech and language services within a dynamic educational setting. Your background with an SLP-CCC credential and experience in school environments will empower you to effectively assess, diagnose, and develop tailored interventions for students. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to foster meaningful communication growth, making a lasting impact on children's educational journeys.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Previous experience working with students in school-based settings Proficient implementing both in-person and teletherapy interventions State licensure (or ability to obtain) for Indiana Solid understanding of IEP processes and best practices in pediatric speech therapy Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments with elementary-aged students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services both on-site and virtually as needed Consult and collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and family members Maintain thorough documentation to support student progress and compliance Contribute to team meetings, sharing updates and strategies for student success
