Overview PRN SLP Responsibilities

+ Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

+ Provide therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and language comprehension.

+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals.

+ Maintain detailed records of patient evaluation, treatment, and progress.

+ Educate clients and family members about communication strategies.

+ Stay updated on clinical research and advances in speech-language pathology. Qualifications

+ Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in speech-language pathology required.

+ Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.

+ Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC

• SLP ) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association ( ASHA ), free of disciplinary action
• OR•Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow ( SLP•CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.

+ At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
