Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Make a difference while working with a dynamic school-based team, utilizing your SLP skills and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC). Your work will play a pivotal role in fostering communication and learning for students of various ages and backgrounds.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Comfortable delivering direct and group speech-therapy services Excellent communication and organization skills
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education program (IEP) goals Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to student needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families Create engaging lesson plans and therapy materials Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and related documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams Provide guidance and resources for classroom staff to reinforce therapy goals Embrace the chance to enrich students' lives as a contract SLP, using your clinical skills and school experience in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
