Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services within a dynamic school environment. This contract, full-time opportunity calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students' communication and language development needs during core school hours, 8am to 4pm.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) also considered Experience working with children in school settings, collaborating with educational teams Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and data collection Effective communication and organizational skills

What You'll Do:

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop, implement, and review IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success Document session notes, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and support school initiatives as needed Use evidence-based practices and materials tailored to support diverse student needs
