Outpatient rehabilitation, with inpatient coverage as needed About the Role We're seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join an outpatient rehab team in Pikeville, KY. You'll evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan, from infants to older adults, and provide inpatient coverage when needed. This is a full-time, weekday position with a consistent schedule and a varied caseload. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting Manage a caseload that spans infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals, and adjust treatment based on patient progress Provide inpatient SLP coverage as needed, including bedside swallow evaluations and acute communication assessments Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home programs, and safety strategies Collaborate with physicians, nursing, PT/OT, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Complete timely, accurate documentation that meets regulatory and payer requirements Weekend / On-Call Candidates with acute care or inpatient rehab (IPR) experience will take part in a weekend/on-call rotation of about 1 in 4. Candidates without acute or IPR experience will not be placed in the rotation. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Kentucky SLP license (required) BLS certification (may be obtained after hire) Ability to treat an infant-through-geriatric caseload Preferred ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Acute care or inpatient rehab experience Pediatric feeding and/or adult dysphagia experience Why Apply Consistent weekday schedule with no nights A diverse caseload across the lifespan Opportunity to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
