School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across both high school and elementary grades for a period of leave coverage this fall. This role offers flexibility to serve onsite or virtually, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the scholastic setting that works best for you. From October 16th through the Christmas break, you'll provide essential speech-language therapy services, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other support staff. Your work will foster communication skills and build confidence, helping students achieve their IEP goals and reach their fullest potential during this key part of the school year.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP license and
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification Previous experience with school-based caseloads (elementary and/or high school preferred) Comfort with both onsite service delivery and teletherapy platforms Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills Willingness to adapt to a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students Provide direct therapy services in speech, language, and communication Monitor progress, update IEPs, and participate in meetings with school teams and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' success in the classroom environment Embrace a flexible schedule while working on a short-term basis, gaining valuable experience with a diverse K-12 caseload.
