Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school-based setting near Adams, MA. Multiple full-time positions are available, offering the chance to work directly onsite with a diverse caseload of students across various school locations. This role welcomes both experienced SLPs with CCC and SLPAs, including travel professionals passionate about making a difference in children's lives.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state SLP license (CCC required for SLPs); SLPAs must hold appropriate state certification Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred Comfort working with K-12 students of varied backgrounds and abilities Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language services to students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Complete thorough assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress efficiently Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, families, and school staff Support generalization of language and communication skills into students' daily classroom routines Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development Mentor and provide guidance to SLPAs if assigned
