We are seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist SLP to join our in-house team! We are looking for an SLP that will provide services in our pediatric skilled nursing facility as well as in our on-site Chapter 766 Private School. We provide Special Education and Rehabilitation Services to medically complex students and young adults with significant cognitive impairments. We also support our resident's swallowing needs via timely assessment and interventions. We are seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide scheduled direct and consultative services to students in our Prek-12 Day School and consultative services to our Young Adult Program.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluation, assessment, treatment and screening of students and residents' communication and swallowing needs Direct and consultation services to identified students, both individually and in a group setting within an interdisciplinary model that integrates therapeutic techniques Establishes and maintains appropriate records, reports, and procedures. Development, programming, and maintenance of alternative communication systems including augmentative communication Participation in required meetings including but not limited to team meetings, IEP meetings, in-services Compliance with existing laws and professional ethics including HIPPA, confidentiality and mandated reporting Experience working with Individuals with special medical and learning needs preferred. Work effectively with Special Education Teachers, Physical, and Occupational Therapist to provide an Interdisciplinary approach. Strong commitment to NEPC's goals and philosophy

Qualifications:

Current MA license and CCCs Familiarity with communication disorders Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive and patient demeanor
