Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
Hold an active SLP license in the state of Massachusetts Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Comfort working with diverse K-12 student populations Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Current knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions, adapting interventions for student needs Coordinate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations for student success Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment for all students Experience working with a variety of student needs and ages will be highly beneficial in this role, and your expertise will directly contribute to students' academic and social growth.
