Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting pre-kindergarten students near Quincy, MA. This in-person contract role offers the chance to collaborate with a passionate educational team while making a real difference in young learners' lives. Your day begins with a supportive start at 7:50 a.m. and spans a 35-hour week. As an observer SLP, you will conduct five to six weekly evaluations using the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment tool, playing an essential role in helping each child communicate and thrive. With a focus on pre-K students, your case load consists of approximately 10 children in both morning and afternoon classes, giving you the opportunity to develop meaningful connections and implement individualized support plans.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current SLP license valid in Massachusetts Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are welcome Previous experience working with young children in a school setting is preferred Training or familiarity with the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment tool is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Observe and support five to six pre-K evaluations weekly using TPBA Provide direct speech and language services to approximately 10 pre-K students in both AM and PM sessions Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Partner with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and assessment records Take your expertise to the next level by nurturing early learners in a dynamic environment surrounded by a dedicated team.
