This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with a supportive school-based team and help students build critical communication skills that will last a lifetime. In this role, you'll work with approximately 30 students in grades K-5. Your expertise will be essential as you conduct assessments, deliver targeted speech and language therapy, write and implement IEPs, and actively participate in IEP meetings. The structured schedule offers 32.5 hours across five days each week, providing the perfect balance between continuity of care and work-life harmony.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language services to K-5 students Conduct formal and informal evaluations to guide student support Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with staff and families Attend and contribute to IEP meetings Track progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with team members Enjoy highly competitive compensation, weekly pay, and an array of comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a matching 401k plan.
