Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your career to the next level with a full-time opportunity serving students in a supportive educational environment. This contract position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and possesses a current Maryland SLP license. The assignment includes working at both an elementary and a middle school, offering variety and the chance to make a meaningful impact across age groups. The role starts as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, providing long-term stability and the fulfillment that comes from supporting student growth.
Requirements:
Current and valid SLP license in Maryland CCC-SLP credential Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology Ability to manage a caseload across different grade levels (elementary and middle school) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Strong organizational abilities for managing paperwork and IEP documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy interventions to students, both individually and in group settings Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and timely reporting in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in professional development sessions as required In addition to the rewarding work, you'll benefit from a consistent weekday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
