Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology or audiology. This full-time, on-site position near Elk Mills, MD, welcomes travel professionals and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and learning journeys, working closely with pediatric populations.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or Audiologist Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric students in educational settings Ability to conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educational staff Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Adaptable and open to working in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' speech, language, and/or auditory needs using standardized assessments and observation Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation for all evaluations, progress notes, and communications Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families Provide direct therapy, both individual and group, tailored to each student's needs Stay current on best practices, resources, and technologies in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology
