9521426-21078 Job Description Make a positive impact on young lives as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at both the elementary and secondary levels in a thriving school community near Havre De Grace, MD. You'll play a vital role in helping students of all ages develop strong communication skills and reach their full academic potential. Enjoy a full-time schedule tailored to either elementary or secondary settings. Elementary SLPs work from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., while secondary SLPs follow a 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. duty day. With a manageable caseload of approximately 55 contacts per week, you can focus on individualized support and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible SLP licensure in Maryland ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are encouraged to apply Previous school-based experience working with elementary and/or secondary students is highly desirable Strong collaboration and communication abilities with multidisciplinary staff, students, and families Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with communication and language concerns Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) Delivering evidence-based therapy services in both group and individual settings Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP and team meetings Take pride in providing essential communication support and empowering students to thrive.
