School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs are also encouraged to apply Prior experience working in a school environment highly desirable Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals Assess and document students' progress, maintaining compliant records and preparing necessary reports Partner with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations Develop individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic skills Deliver both individual and group therapies tailored to diverse student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the integration of speech/language goals into the curriculum
