Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting school-aged students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working in schools supporting school-aged children Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families Ability to provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a full-time caseload of school-age students Complete evaluations, write reports, and maintain necessary documentation Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and families to support students' individualized education plans (IEPs) Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development Adapt therapy methods and materials to meet diverse needs within the school environment This contract position starts as soon as possible and extends through June 17th, 2027, providing stability and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and staff alike.
