School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Oxon Hill, Maryland

Job Description

Ignite positive change as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a vibrant Maryland school environment. In this impactful contract position, you'll empower children and adolescents to overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for diverse K-12 students Develop and implement individualized IEP goals tailored to each learner's needs Deliver direct and consultative SLP therapy services within the school setting Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP team members to foster student growth Maintain clear and accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or willingness/eligibility to obtain School-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but enthusiastic candidates seeking to work in an educational setting are also welcome Excellent communication skills, organization, and ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
