Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and make a lasting impact during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll provide vital speech and language services, helping students reach their full potential in academic and social settings. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule, professional growth, and the chance to collaborate within an educational team passionate about student development.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license or eligibility in Maryland Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome Experience with school-aged populations (K-12) desirable Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing individualized therapy plans Excellent communication and organization abilities Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate documentation Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the special education team Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff Adapt therapy techniques to best address student needs and meet district standards This contract position begins August 13, 2026, and concludes June 3, 2027.
