Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Active state license to practice as an SLP (or the ability to obtain one before start) Previous experience within a school setting is highly valued Solid foundation in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students as determined by IEPs Conduct thorough assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Develop individualized treatment and intervention plans tailored to each students needs Document all services provided, progress notes, and relevant data in compliance with school and state requirements Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster academic and social success for students Maintain accurate records and progress reports for all assigned students
