This opportunity allows you to work closely with a supportive educational team while delivering essential speech and language services to young learners.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for the state of Maine Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in school settings, particularly with preschool students, strongly preferred Solid understanding of the IEP process and documentation requirements Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Positive attitude and ability to connect with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25 preschool students Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor students progress Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support students needs Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development and documentation of goals Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines Stay informed of best practices and new developments in the field of speech-language pathology This contract role begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, offering 32 hours of work weekly.
