This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in AAC devices and compensatory services. You'll play a vital part in helping students overcome communication barriers as you enrich their school experience through expert intervention and compassionate support.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maine Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) Experience with pediatric and elementary populations Proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Familiarity with providing compensatory services in a school setting

Role Highlights:

Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to elementary students during the school year Support students needing AAC evaluation, implementation, and ongoing therapy Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance communication outcomes Accurately document progress, maintain records, and prepare reports as needed Flexible schedule: 4-10 hours per week across 1-2 days Manage a caseload with a focus on quality, individualized student care Start date as soon as possible, running through the end of the school year
