Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Type:
Part-Time to Full-Time Chickadee Chatter Speech Therapy is seeking a neuroaffirming, family-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team! We provide individualized, nature-based, and play-based speech and language services for children in early intervention, preschool, and school-age settings. At Chickadee Chatter, our mission is to help every voice take flight by connecting communication growth with the natural world. We believe that confidence, connection, and communication can flourish through kindness, inclusion, and nature-based experiences . Therapy may take place in-office, in homes, schools/daycares, outdoors, or within community environments , providing flexibility and variety in your clinical approach. Responsibilities Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services across a pediatric caseload Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and educational teams to support carryover and success Document sessions and maintain accurate, timely records Participate in case collaboration and team communication Share your creativity — ideas for program or resource development are highly encouraged and supported! Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Maine SLP license (active or eligible) CFY applicants welcome! Experience in early intervention and/or school-based settings Interest in nature-based , play-based , or child-led therapy approaches Strong communication skills, flexibility, and collaborative mindset What We Offer Competitive hourly rates: starting at $40/hr for CFs , higher depending on experience Flexible scheduling and autonomy in service delivery Ability to build your ideal caseload and setting as the practice expands Access to therapy spaces , materials, and community resources Collaborative, supportive environment focused on growth and creativity Opportunities to design and develop new programs aligned with your passions Access to AI Notetaker tools to simplify documentation and reduce paperwork stress PTO for employees working minimum of 21 clinical hours/wk License reimbursement ($300 value) CEU reimbursement (up to $300/year) Want to learn more?
