School Speech Language Pathologist - Bellevue, MI

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working in an onsite capacity. This contract position is based near Bellevue, MI, and provides the opportunity to support PreK through 12th-grade students, with a strong focus on early childhood caseloads. This is a full-time role, offering up to 40 hours per week in a dynamic, supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Michigan ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working in schools preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaborating with students, families, and educational staff Prepared to work onsite only; remote or virtual (VOCO) options are not available If applying as a Clinical Fellow (CF), a prearranged supervisor must be in place
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, mostly early childhood Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy using best practices to address students' needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel Maintain accurate records and progress documentation Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
