Duncan Lake Speech Therapy, LLC is a small, multi-disciplinary practice based in Kentwood, MI. Our goal is to provide high-quality client-centered, collaborative speech and language services to all of our clients. We value inclusivity, diversity, and cultural responsiveness, and strive to further our clinical and cultural learning and development. Right now, we are looking for 2 in-person school-based SLPs to work with two separate districts within Kent ISD. These would both likely be for the entire school year. Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Both CCCs and CFs will be considered for this position Current Michigan state licensure Ability to drive and be in-person at a school. Essential Skills Time management and organizational skills Self-starter and high level of initiative Engaging and thoughtful interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and their parents as well as with other team members Reliability and flexibility Dedication to anti-racism and embracing the values representation, diversity, and inclusion Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy in adherence to students' IEPs Maintain accurately and timely records of progress and service Open and honest communication with parents regarding progress Collaboration with school staff Are you concerned that you have never had school contracting experience before?
