An opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within a school-based setting near Niles, MI. This contract role spans from mid to late March through the end of the school year, with a flexible 3-days-per-week schedule.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible SLP licensure for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience or a strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations Effective collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students as indicated in their IEPs Conduct evaluations, reassessments, and progress monitoring Create and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual students needs Collaborate with other educators and staff to support student success Prepare timely and accurate documentation of student progress and attendance Communicate with caregivers and families regarding student milestones and needs Support school initiatives and participate in team meetings as required
