Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication skills in a collaborative and welcoming school environment near Oxford, MI. As a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite, you'll work with a manageable caseload across four nearby schools, visiting one school per day without the need to travel between locations during the day. Get to know approximately 10 students at each site, including those in general education with speech needs as well as individuals with mild cognitive or spectrum-related challenges needing speech therapy. What we're seeking: Valid SLP licensure, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous experience in school-based speech-language services Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Confidence working with both general education students and those with mild special needs Your responsibilities will include: Delivering direct speech-language therapy to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals Developing, monitoring, and updating IEPs and related documentation Conducting assessments and collaborating with school teams and families Consulting with teachers and other professionals to integrate interventions in the classroom Providing support and education to families on student progress Rotating between four closely located schools, with your workday dedicated to one campus at a time Benefits of this contract: Consistent workweek with 37.5 scheduled hours Onsite collaboration with dedicated educational teams Manageable caseload with no severe cases, ensuring focused, quality care Opportunity to build rapport within multiple school communities Long-term placement through June 2027 Take the next step in your SLP career by making a direct impact in students' lives.
