9649159-49090 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role supporting students in specialized education programs, working alongside dedicated educators and fellow clinicians. A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a contract assignment serving center-based programs in the Lawrence and Bangor areas, supporting students with special needs. This assignment runs through June 4th, following a dependable school schedule with typical hours from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday (7.25 hours per day). This position includes three days per week on-site in Lawrence and two days per week in Bangor, all in-person, delivering critical speech services within lively special education settings. Key Qualifications/Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision is available Valid state licensure (or elibigility) for Speech-Language Pathology services in educational settings Pediatric experience, especially in school or center-based environments, strongly preferred Ability to provide in-person therapy (virtual services are not feasible for this assignment) Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with multi-disciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized therapy plans Deliver direct interventions in center-based special education classrooms Collaborate regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and family members Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports Support students with a wide range of communication needs
