Job Description

Make a difference as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist providing support to students in an engaging educational environment near Walled Lake, MI. This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to use your expertise to foster communication and learning success for children who need it most.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license or eligibility for Michigan state licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience working in a school setting a plus Comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children Strong collaboration and organization skills Ability to craft IEPs and maintain thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support positive educational outcomes Deliver therapy services to students individually or in small groups Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary education teams Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and progress reporting Offer insights and support on augmentative communication when needed This contract role offers the chance to make meaningful connections with students and colleagues while supporting their academic journey.
