School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - West Bloomfield, Michigan

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact working with early childhood students in a supportive educational environment. This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about fostering communication skills in young learners. Located near West Bloomfield, MI, the assignment is set to run from now through December, offering a consistent 8 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Current or in-progress ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (or process of obtaining) Experience or strong interest in working with early childhood populations Familiarity with IEP process and documentation for school settings Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood students in line with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by the school and district Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Provide recommendations and support to promote language and communication development across classroom settings This is a rewarding, part-time role for professionals seeking flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young students.
