Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist where your expertise can make a lasting difference in students' lives. This engaging in-person contract assignment begins in early February and runs through June 14th, providing a fantastic opportunity to work closely with learners in a supportive educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience serving school-aged children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in evaluating and implementing speech-language strategies tailored to individual student needs Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve student goals
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy and interventions to students within the school setting Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student services Document student performance and maintain detailed records in accordance with school policies Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources to foster student success Serve as an advocate for best practices in speech and language development
