School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication and language development in an engaging educational environment. Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a local school setting on a contract basis, where your knowledge and passion will help students reach their full potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Minnesota Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience working in a school or pediatric environment is preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language difficulties Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals Provide direct therapy services to students, individually or in groups Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning Experience the reward of helping students grow in a supportive atmosphere, collaborating with dedicated educators, and enhancing your professional skill set along the way.
