You'll play a central role, working closely with students and staff to foster positive speech and language outcomes throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience delivering SLP services within school settings preferred Strong understanding of evidence-based speech and language interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs Minnesota licensure or eligibility required
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to children in-person, addressing individual needs Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support Document services and maintain thorough records in compliance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Educate and empower school staff and families regarding effective communication strategies This assignment begins in early February and runs through June 14th, offering the chance to build lasting professional relationships and support students' growth over a pivotal period.
