School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Liberty, Missouri

Job Description

A full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing services in local schools. This role focuses on direct student support and effective team collaboration, allowing you to work with a diverse range of students and contribute to their academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required) Prior experience in a K-12 school environment preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) Ability to provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy Excellent organizational and communication skills Flexibility to split time among multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language services to students as outlined in their IEPs Support students in specialized programs, particularly in educational support and behavior-focused classrooms Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective interventions Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service logs Engage in IEP meetings and team planning sessions as needed Provide overflow support to additional sites within the district on a rotating basis Contribute to the positive, supportive school culture through ongoing communication and professional collaboration This position offers stable, full-time daytime hours (9:00am-4:40pm, Monday through Friday) throughout the school year, giving you a predictable schedule and ample opportunity to build rapport and make a difference.
