Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to student learning plans Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices This contract role offers the chance to build professional experience, contribute positive outcomes in education, and enjoy the unique environment of a school community.
