This contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, collaborating with educational professionals to help students achieve their goals.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license, or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome Previous experience in school settings is an advantage Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain required documentation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Provide therapy sessions in individual or group settings as appropriate Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based activities supporting student learning This contract opportunity near Vaughan, MS, is perfect for SLPs who are passionate about helping students build essential communication skills in a supportive educational setting.
