Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Eden, NC

Job Description

This contract position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school-based setting near Eden, NC. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current, active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and carry out IEPs and provide thorough progress monitoring Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a passion for supporting student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools Develop individualized intervention plans and strategies based on student needs Provide direct therapy aligned with IEP goals in individual and small group settings Maintain accurate records of services delivered and progress made Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to ensure holistic student support Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions, and offer guidance regarding communication interventions Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology This assignment offers the chance to immerse yourself in a supportive school environment, impacting lives while gaining invaluable professional experience.
