Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near Fort Bragg, NC. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to foster communication and learning for children across various age groups.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Possession of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and document progress
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs Design, implement, and track speech-language intervention programs in both individual and group sessions Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to maximize student progress Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultative support to educators regarding classroom strategies Monitor student development and adjust therapy plans to meet evolving needs Why consider this contract opportunity?
