Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students with speech and language needs as a contract school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is located in the Hope Mills, NC area and is ideal for professionals looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic educational setting.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Collaborative attitude and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually or in groups Monitor progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff Offer consultation, resources, and training to school staff as needed
