Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

We are looking for part-time to full-time, open to schedule options. Market value sign on bonus!
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and case management
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improvement
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
  • Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or intensive care units (ICUs)
  • Strong assessment skills to accurately diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
