Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting students across elementary and preschool settings in a rewarding full-time contract role for the 2026-27 school year. This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who enjoy dynamic, collaborative environments and want to work onsite. You will split your time between two school sites, providing both direct and consultative SLP services to children with diverse needs. Candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those seeking Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision are welcome to apply.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC or eligible CFY status Eligible for state licensure in North Carolina Experience with pediatric speech/language disorders preferred Familiarity with educational settings, IEP processes, and electronic documentation systems (such as ECATS and Medicaid documentation) Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and support speech and language therapy to students in preschool and elementary settings Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and team conferences Maintain timely and accurate documentation in ECATS and Medicaid billing systems Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress Deliver services onsite at assigned locations, following school schedules and policies
