9654822-27563 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist serving elementary students, with the possibility of working with a variety of age groups based on your preference. Situated near Henderson, NC, youll work within school-based settings making a lasting contribution to childrens communication development throughout the academic year. This full-time position is available now through June 4, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours weekly. As part of this dynamic environment, youll deliver direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families. If supervising team members appeals to you, there is also potential to oversee the work of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), though an SLP must be secured for this arrangement.

Key Qualifications:

Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Background in pediatric speech therapy, particularly within school settings Skilled in tailoring interventions for a diverse student population Experience using assistive listening technology Comfortable supervising or mentoring an SLPA if needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, primarily at the elementary level Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP processes Maintain accurate records and document progress Support and, if applicable, supervise SLPAs to ensure quality care and compliance
