Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting school-aged learners in a vibrant community just east of Winston-Salem, NC. Work as an integral part of a collaborative educational team, lending your expertise to help students improve their communication skills and reach their academic and social potential. This contract position runs from August 26, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and welcomes both full-time (35 hours per week) and part-time Speech-Language Pathologists. You'll enjoy reasonable caseloads of 45-50 students and the support you need to make a meaningful impact.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology North Carolina SLP licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare settings preferred Passion for working with children and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct therapy services to students, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as needed Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals Maintain accurate records, documentation, and comply with state/local regulations
