Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Hold a current North Carolina SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Completed masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Recent experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and progress tracking Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and progress Develop targeted intervention plans linked to each students IEP Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and offer professional guidance to staff and families Maintain thorough records, ensuring compliance with all district and federal regulations Educate teachers and parents on strategies to support student goals within the classroom and at home
