Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity that leverages your expertise in speech-language pathology to make a difference in a vibrant educational setting. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with students and educators, providing essential communication support through on-site and teletherapy services. Ideal candidates hold their SLP-CCC or are Clinical Fellows seeking an environment focused on collaboration, mentorship, and impactful student outcomes. This full-time role extends from ASAP through late May 2027, providing ample time to build meaningful relationships and contribute to student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status Proficiency in school-based service delivery and IEP processes Experience with pediatric caseloads, ideally in educational or healthcare settings Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for remote service provision Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for students aged preschool through high school Participate in the development, implementation, and review of IEPs Apply evidence-based practices in both direct and teletherapy formats Consult with educators and caregivers to support carry-over of skills Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies Contribute to a positive learning environment and advocate for student needs
