Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license Experience in school-based SLP services, including teletherapy and in-person support Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in student populations ranging from elementary to high school Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable with digital platforms for virtual therapy sessions
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students (3rd grade through high school) Conduct assessments and screenings to identify communication needs Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain detailed progress notes, documentation, and required reporting Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student growth Provide a combination of teletherapy and on-site services as needed
