Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational environments is highly desirable Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to function independently as well as contribute to a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and documentation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure holistic student support Maintain accurate records, reporting progress and making necessary adjustments to therapy Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
